Contract Specialists, Inc. (CSI) believes that it is extremely important to select a janitorial service contractor that has effective safety management and training systems in place. When any job is being performed, good safety practices should always take priority. Using proactive safety measures, many accidents can be prevented and productivity can be increased. Comprehensive safety training is the most important step to preventing accidents and ensuring a safe environment. This consists of two (2) phases of documented training. Initial orientation and specific job training. We have an extensive safety plan that includes classroom training, on-site training, checklist accountability, and follow-up, as well as a dedicated and knowledgeable safety committee.

Our safety committee Team Leader has more than 13 years experience implementing and maintaining safety programs and teams. The safety committee is a tool that allows our workers to participate and interface with management regarding safety issues. This program has reduced incidents, improved worker morale, and created an environment that reflects the importance of safety at each facility. This program also provides awareness and compliance for OSHA regulations for all employees and allows a method for feedback on how we can continue to improve our programs and communication related to safety.

In addition to our safety program, we provide job specific training programs for each position. CSI is dedicated to assisting our staff in succeeding in their positions while providing them with the necessary tools and support.
